Ford issues recall for 38,000 vans with defective curtain air bags
Dearborn, Michigan-based automaker Ford Motor Co. has issued a recall for around 38,000 Transit vans in the United States and Canada due to a defective curtain air bag that may fail to protect occupants in the event of an accident.
Aside from this, recalls for around 5,500 Lincoln MKC of the model years 2015-2016 and 2016 Ford Explorer vehicles have been issued to be able to update their heaters. The original heaters are capable of overheating, causing an under-hood fire when the car is stationary and the block heater is connected.
Finally, Ford is recalling around 4,764 Ford F-650 and Ford F-750 vehicles due to faulty parking brake cable connector clips that may cause unwanted movement of the vehicle.
