Little girl died in Pleasure Ridge Park car accident
A seven-year-old girl, whose identity the police authorities did not make known to the public, died at the scene of a car crash the morning of May 17, Wave 3 News reported.
Three other passengers were riding with the girl when their vehicle was struck by a Jeep on the 7200 block of Terry Road at Rivers End Road in Louisville, Kentucky. The driver of the Jeep SUV was brought to the hospital with critical injuries. The three passengers accompanying the young girl also went to the hospital, but their injuries were not as severe.
Louisville Metro Police Department spokeswoman Alicia Smiley said the Jeep driver was attempting to pass a southbound car on Terry Road, causing him to be hit by the northbound Chevrolet carrying the group of individuals.
The attorneys at the Sampson Law Firm send their deepest condolences to the friends and family of the deceased during this difficult time.
